About TrueCine
A workshop, not a warehouse.
TrueCine is a small team of certified equipment technicians and machinists in İstanbul, handcrafting premium gear since 2015. We build protective cases for the fixtures we used to service — engineered in small batches, to the standard we'd want for our own bench.
Origin
We didn't start on a film set.
We started on the repair bench.
TrueCine was born from years of hands-on experience servicing the industry's most demanding cinematic fixtures. As technicians working intimately with the internal engineering of heavy-duty lights from brands like ARRI and Nanlite, we noticed a recurring pattern: the most expensive equipment rarely failed due to set usage. It was getting damaged in transit.
We realized that generic transport cases were either too flimsy to protect delicate ballasts and electronics, or too bulky for fast-paced location shoots. The industry didn't need another generic case; it needed protective gear designed by the people who actually repair the lights.
So, we started handcrafting our own. A decade on, we still design, machine, and assemble every case in Kağıthane, İstanbul. Our focus is intentionally narrow: precision-fit armor for the gear professional crews actually use. We engineer our cases to protect your fleet, reduce your RMA rates, and optimize your freight costs.
Measured, machined, and tested by hand.
We keep the production loop short so we can keep the standard high. Every product is touched by the same small team from raw sheet to packed case.
01 · Design
Engineered from the inside out.
Every design starts by analyzing where generic cases fail on the repair bench. We reverse-engineer the protection based on real damage patterns, then go through three to five functional prototypes before settling on the production drawings.
02 · Machine
Cut in-house.
Our shells are milled and formed in our own workshop in Kağıthane. Foam interiors are cut on a CNC router to tolerances of ±1 mm.
03 · Verify
Tested before it ships.
Each finished case is fitted against a real fixture, drop-checked, and signed off by the person who built it. Nothing leaves the bench without a pass.
